After serving at sea on ocean-going vessels for over a decade,
I made the decision to dedicate my life to the study of weather patterns, ocean currents, and their influence on vessel operations and maritime decision-making.
Despite limited resources at the time, I was honoured to be invited to join a globally respected weather routing bureau. This opportunity allowed me to collaborate with masters holding over 50 years of experience, sharing my vision and learning from their unbiased, data-driven methodologies—work that earned them a leading position in the global shipping community.
Driven by this experience, I expanded my expertise through years of demanding and collaborative teamwork. After 15 years in the field, I became actively involved as a technical expert in speed claim damages and decision-making processes in High Court and Arbitration proceedings, strictly in a non-legal capacity.
Over the past 6 years, I have focused on the Greek shipping industry, aiming to address the longstanding deficiencies in technical weather and routing services. This work led to the founding of Prime Navigation Shipping & Services, a Greek maritime weather routing bureau dedicated to supporting the global shipping community.
Our vision is rooted in a strong work ethic, integrity, and innovation. We specialise in voyage performance assessments, weather monitoring, emissions, and technical advisory services, with extensions into yachting, cruising, bunkering, and oil trading. Together with my expert teams and our proprietary platforms, Prime Watch and Prime Watch Master we currently support more than 150 companies worldwide with daily technical insights and operational reports.
And this is just the beginning of our network of ventures that aim to provide solutions for the shipping industry.

My dedication to performance monitoring, weather-routing consultancy, and addressing under-performance claims deepened as I successfully managed numerous cases.
After nearly 15 years in another esteemed monitoring bureau, I felt it was time to pursue greater responsibilities and to impart my expertise to new teams. It was a privilege to accept Captain Andreas’s invitation to join the Prime Navigation Shipping and Services team. Specialist Consultant in Ship Speed & Consumption disputes (Bulk Carriers & Tankers), with commercial background representing both charterers and owners. Shipping career began in 1993, with over a decade of sea service (mainly bulk carriers and tankers) followed by extensive work in weather routing, voyage performance analysis, and speed/consumption claims.
Conducts performance evaluations consistent with English case law and London arbitration standards. Active in speed and consumption disputes since 2006, including as technical expert and advisor (non-legal capacity) at a global weather routing firm during the post-2012 methodology review period.
Experienced in CP Clauses 29/30, particularly speed/consumption deviations and good weather definitions. Endorsed by tribunal-appointed experts for the clarity, objectivity, and neutrality of submitted reports.

After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Shipping Studies, I applied my analytical and business development skills in various sales management roles within the shipping industry.
Within a short period, I was promoted to Sales Director, which allowed me to excel in business planning, operations management, and modern sales methodologies. When invited to join the Prime Navigation Shipping & Services team, I was honored to take on the major role of enhancing the company’s overall performance and was inspired by its unique vision.
I am responsible for implementing effective promotional strategies, strengthening our corporate image, fostering a target-oriented mindset with accountability for both personal and professional growth, contributing strategic ideas, and building long-term relationships with our customers. Additionally, I work to create a prosperous referral base through external channels.
Along with meeting targets, I coach my team members to develop their individual skills, building a strong team capacity that enables us to provide you with the highest standards of service.
